Payment Options
Park Electric reads meters electronically through an automatic meter reading system. Meters are read daily and billed monthly. Monthly bills generally include usage from the 17th to the 17th of each month. For example, February's bill would include usage from January 17 to February 17th. Bills are mailed around the 20th and are due on the 3rd of the following month.
If the 3rd lands on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, an additional working day will be allowed. If you should move, sell or for any other reason want the service taken out of your name, it is your responsibility to notify Park Electric. The methods of payment we accept are as follows:
Automatic Bill Payment or ACH Payments
The Automatic Payment Program (ACH) is available for those who want their payment to be automatically deducted from a bank account of their choice. The bill generated each month is pre-printed with a "Paid by Bank" in Amount Due box to remind you not to send payment.
ACH payments reduce collection costs for the cooperative and to that end the monthly base rate is reduced by $1.50/month if you chose to pay your bill via ACH.
If for any reason you cannot pay your bill, please call our office to make arrangements. In the event that you change bank accounts, please notify us before the 1st of the month. All bank fees incurred by the cooperative as a result of closed accounts or insufficient funds will be charged to the member.

Budget Billing
Your electric bill, as you know, varies each month depending on the weather, number of electric appliances you use and many other factors. The budget billing plan allows you to pay a fixed amount each month. This makes planning your monthly expenses easier. This service is based on your previous 12 month's usage. Periodic reviews are conducted to insure that payments are adequate to cover usage and costs. These reviews also reduce the possibility of a large debit or credit balance. Credit Card
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and e-check through a third party. To pay online go to our online bill payment application. To pay by phone call 1-877-260-7787. All payments made by a credit card or through e-check will have a convenience fee added to the payment.
Late Penalties - If a late notice is sent a $5.00 late fee is added to the account. If a disconnect notice is sent a $20.00 fee is added to the account. If a bill is more than 30 days late, interest charges of 1% apply each month.
