Green Power Program

Many of our members are concerned about the environment and want to do their part in supporting environmentally friendly practices. Park Electric's Green Power Program gives them an opportunity to do just that. Through our Green Power Program, members can purchase Green Tags equal to the amount of electricity used each month. Green Tags are the intangible environmental benefits associated with producing electricity through renewable sources.

Energy from renewable sources typically costs more than from traditional sources. This additional cost is passed on to those who choose to participate in the Green Power Program. The current market price for Green Tags determines the price Park Electric and ultimately you, the member, pays for green power.

The 2010 Green Power price will be .165 cents ($.00165) per kilowatt-hour. This price is guaranteed through December 31, 2010. For those currently in the Green Power Program if you do not want to continue purchasing green power in 2010 please contact us by December 15, 2009.

To join the growing number of members who want to buy 100% green power please complete our Agreement Form found by clicking the link below and send to PO Box 1119, drop off at 5706 US Hwy 89 South, Livingston, MT 59047 or fax 406.222.3418.
