Direct Purchase
The Direct Purchase program allows a renewable generator to interconnect and sell the power directly to Park Electric. The price paid for the generation is based on Park Electric's "avoided cost" or the wholesale rate Park Electric currently pays its power supplier, Central Montana Electric Power Cooperative.
Under the Direct Purchase interconnection the generator can have up to 100 kW nameplate generating capacity. The generation may or may not be used for a member's own power needs. Any generator over 100 kW will be dealt with on an individual basis.
