District 1:

Alan and his wife, Lil, have lived in the Shields Valley since 1979, where they began their ranching life with just a few animals. They still live on the same place, now operating a cattle ranch with one of their children, while the other works as a doctor in New York. Their grandchildren were born in Livingston and attend Park High. Alan is actively involved in the community, serving on the Wilsall Fire Department, the local Weed Board, and the Watershed group. He has served on the Park Electric Board since 2011 and represents Park Electric on the Board of Central Montana Electric Power Co-op, which supplies power to members through WAPA and Basin Electric. He values the opportunity to continue learning and working with dedicated people in the cooperative world. |

District 2:

Dan is a fifth-generation Park County resident whose family has relied on Park Electric services for more than 80 years. Over the past six years, he has earned the Credentialed Cooperative Director (CCD) certification through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, completing extensive coursework to strengthen his understanding of cooperative governance. Dan regularly attends meetings with Central Electric and the Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association, gaining insight into regional and statewide energy issues. He and his wife have four children, all living in Montana and all Park Electric members. |

406-223-3008 Craig is a lifelong Livingston resident and Park High graduate. He and his wife, Deanie, have been married for 41 years and have two grown children. Craig spent 42 years as a lineman with Montana Power and Northwestern Energy, and he has served on the Park Electric Board since 2016. His hands-on expertise and practical insight are valuable assets at every meeting. |

406-939-2306 Matt is a lifelong Park County resident and rancher who works alongside his wife and son west of Livingston. He also manages Fisher Gravel east of town, bringing more than three decades of experience to the business. When he’s not working, Matt can often be found tending to cattle—including the annual Sunday morning spring trail drive through Livingston. |

Bert has served on the Park Electric Cooperative Board since 2005, holding positions of Vice President and President, and as Secretary/Treasurer. He is also a board member of the Paradise Valley Fire Service Area, the Park Local Development Corporation, and the Park County Community Foundation. Bert and Kris Otis moved to Paradise Valley from Billings, Montana, in 1984. They owned and operated the Pine Creek Store & Cabins until 1994, when they sold the business and purchased the Pierce Ranch—now known as the Otis Ranch. In 1989, they also acquired the Emigrant General Store, which they successfully operated for 35 years before selling it in 2024. Today, Bert and Kris continue to manage the Otis Ranch and remain deeply connected to the Paradise Valley community. |

Bill, a fourth-generation rancher from 10 miles south of Big Timber, brings deep community roots to his service. He serves on the Sweet Grass County FSA Committee, the Boulder River Watershed Board, and the McLeod Fire Department. Bill is married with two grown children and has been a member of the Park Electric Board since 2023. |

406-930-2163 Nathan lives on his family’s fifth-generation ranch in Melville, where he oversees daily operations with his wife, three children, and parents. He holds a degree in Welding Technology from Northwest Community College and previously worked for Hathaway Trucking before returning to the ranch. Nathan has served on the Crazy Mountain Stockgrowers Board for 15 years, sits on the Sweet Grass County Weed Board, and is the Foreman of the Melville Volunteer Fire Crew. Committed to rural community involvement, he joined the Park Electric Board to help support its continued efficiency and reliability amid Montana’s growth. |
