Legal Notice – Public Comment Period A public comment period will be held from August 1 through September 1, 2025, regarding Park Electric’s draft Wildfire Mitigation Plan. On May 13, 2025, the State of Montana enacted House Bill 490 (HB490), which limits the liability of electric utilities operating in the state, provided they implement a Wildfire Mitigation Plan that complies with the requirements outlined in the legislation. Members of the public are invited to review Park Electric’s draft plan and submit comments. To schedule a time to view the draft and provide input, please contact our general manager, Matt Haggerty, at 406-222-3100. We will also be hosting a public meeting to review and discuss the proposed plan on Friday, August 8th, 2025, at 11:00 am at our Park Electric Office, 5706 Hwy 89 South, Livingston, MT. |
